Necklace I made for myself after I saw a similar one in a bead shop for $140 and thought yeah right, i'll just make my own!
Made from large coral teeth beads and beautiful natural turquoise beads, with a non-tarnishing silver chain of part byzantine chainmaille weave and part normal chain weave, all handmade by me.
I love the bold colours and unusual coral teeth beads, though people keep asking me if they are chillies. Why would I make a necklace out of Chillies?

I have noticed though in the varying lots of turquoise beads I have bought, that they can vary quite a bit in colour! The next lot I bought after making this necklace were through etsy and were a much more vibrant blue colour, whereas the ones in this were a pale greenish blue.
I love wearing this its so chunky and funky ^_^ which is due to the awesome coral more than my craftsmanship, really, but I still like taking a little bit of credit...it never stops being fun......

Hey, well all of us artists, regardless of skill level, need some praise now and then....
I have to admit, it almost looks like chillies but looking up close, I can see they are corals.
